AC-01

Air conditioning

A condenser, a matched coil and a charge set by the gauges, not by the label. Most replacements are running by mid-afternoon on the day we start.

Furnaces

For homes keeping gas, a 96% two-stage furnace is quieter and steadier than the single-stage box it replaces. We test combustion on every one.

Heat pumps

Santa Clara winters rarely drop below 38°F, which is heat-pump weather all year. One outdoor unit, no gas, cooling in July and heating in January.

Ducts & airflow

A new system on leaky ducts is a new system that still cannot cool the back bedroom. We test leakage first, then replace, seal or resize.
