Lighting
How we do it.
Good lighting is three layers in every room: ambient, task, accent. We design it with you on the walk, mark the ceiling with tape before we cut, and wire each layer to its own dimmer.
Inside
- Recessed. 4-inch canless LED, 2700 K or 3000 K, wafer where joists are tight. Title 24 high-efficacy, every one.
- Under-cabinet and toe-kick. Hard-wired LED tape with a driver you can reach, no plug-in pucks.
- Pendants and sconces. Boxes braced for the weight, neutral at every switch for smart dimmers.
Outside
Low-voltage landscape lighting from a transformer on a photocell and timer. Path lights, up-lights on trees, step lights, all on a single circuit you can switch from the house. See Birdland.
Control
Lutron Caséta for a few rooms, RA3 for a whole house, scenes set on the day. Every dimmer we install is matched to the lamp, so nothing flickers at 10 percent.

Next: a site walk.
Forty minutes at your panel. We leave you a written scope, the permit path and a start date. Prices come after the walk, never before.
