Services

Scope, time on site, what's included.

No prices on this page, because every house is different and we price after a site visit. What you will find: what each job involves, how long you'll be without power, and exactly what's in the bid.

01 · Panel upgrades

100 A to 200 A, in a day.

The most common job we do in Sunnyvale. A new 200 A main panel, every circuit landed on a new breaker, grounding electrode system brought to current code, and the meter base replaced if PG&E asks for it. We handle the PG&E service-change request and the city permit; you handle nothing.

2–3 weeks (PG&E schedule)
What's included
  • Load calculation for the house as it is and as you plan it
  • PG&E service-change application and both site visits
  • 200 A main panel, new breakers, AFCI/GFCI where required
  • Grounding rods, water-pipe bond, intersystem bonding bridge
  • Printed panel schedule and labels on every breaker
  • City final inspection, permit card emailed to you

02 · EV chargers

Level 2 charging on a dedicated circuit.

We install the charger you already bought or supply one, such as a Tesla Wall Connector, ChargePoint Home Flex, Emporia or Wallbox. Or we install a NEMA 14-50 outlet if you'd rather keep the mobile connector. A load calculation comes first: about a third of our customers find their existing panel can take a 40 A circuit without an upgrade.

03 · Rewiring

Old wire out, room by room.

We replace both knob-and-tube from the 1920s bungalows near Murphy Avenue and aluminum branch circuits from the 1960s Eichlers. Whole-house or one circuit at a time, with as few wall openings as the attic and crawlspace allow. Every opening is patched and sanded, ready for paint.

  • Drywall patched and textured to match; paint by you or your painter
  • Rough and final inspections, with a written insurer letter if you need one

04 · Lighting

Layers of light, no flicker.

Recessed LED cans laid out on a plan, not by eye. Pendants over the island on their own dimmer. Under-cabinet strips with the driver hidden in a cabinet. Outside, low-voltage path and uplighting on a timer. We match dimmers to lamps because that's where the flicker comes from.

05 · Troubleshooting

Find it, write it down, fix it.

A breaker that trips every few days. Half the bedroom dead. Lights that dim when the dryer starts. A GFCI that won't reset. We bring a tester, a thermal camera and a clamp meter, find the fault, and show you before we fix it. Most repairs happen on the first visit.
